Classes
About classes
Yoga is not a competition, yoga is not a sport. Yoga is a contact with yourself – with your body and your soul, which is why practically everyone can practice it. I invite to my studio mainly beginners and intermediate advanced, those who are just going to take their first steps on the mat, as well as those who want to expand their knowledge and practice on it.
Zen Yoga
Zen Yoga – my original classes are the result of several trends – academic yoga, hatha yoga, vinyasa flow, pilates and power yoga. Each class is different, but also not accidental, created through flow with practitioners in the room and on-line. Smooth transitions from position to position trigger the flow of energy in the body, strengthening and stretching the muscles. During the classes, we learn to position the body correctly, taking care of a straight spine, opening the hips and chest. We focus on being in the here and now to support the process of building correct habits in the body.
During practice, it is not just the position or asana that is important, but the process of experiencing yourself, getting to feel your own body by learning patience, letting go, not comparing yourself. It is meeting with yourself on the mat, accepting your limitations and imperfections, choosing a variant that is appropriate for your body at a given moment, without judging yourself or others. Lack of expectations helps to enjoy each practice and experience what the day brings.

What is worth knowing before coming to the first class?
- There are mats, blocks and belts available in the studio. We come to classes 5 minutes before the start, so that you can start the lessons in peace.
- During the classes, we try not to look around, observe others, but focus on ourselves, on our breath, on our body.
- The practice of yoga is a path that, when doing some asanas, is long and bumpy, so do not be discouraged by the initial difficulties, just enjoy every little success. Yoga is not a rivalry on the mat, but a work with yourself.
- We exercise 80%, the muscles stretch after several seconds, that’s why we can stand in the asana. In case of pain in any joint, we move from more difficult to easier position.
Morning practice is more energizing, stimulating, but the body is more rigid, unstretched.
Evening practice is for those who like to end the day with a moment for themselves, the body is more flexible after the whole day, prepared for rest.
